So… I thought I was doing well.
I was wrong. D:
I gained a pound. I am not sure how, or why (perhaps it has to do with my birth control?).
Anyways, I am not giving up. I have a free personal training session with a trainer at 7 pm and then doing zumba at 8 pm.
Breakfast: Green smoothie (if you're interested, Google Dr Oz's 3 day diet cleanser)
Lunch: plain yogurt with honey and granola and a sweet potato
Snack: a piece of dark chocolate
Dinner: oven baked chicken tenderloins with broccoli and grilled zucchini
I am going to try my best to eat better. I was eating pretty well, but I was snacking here and there. I was taking bites like it didn't matter. LOL.
SO…I GUESS I KNOW EXACTLY WHY I GAINED THAT POUND. D: D:
The goal is to be 170 pounds by my birthday (April 10th) . NO SLACKING. LET'S DO THIS!
P.S: I have the most supportive, encouraging and loving boyfriend

February 10
I am going to do better with updates, I promise.
Anyways, I have been going to the gym to do zumba and also getting on the eliptical. I've actually realized that working out does not intensify or worsen my headache. I think my migraine was part mental--anyways, I am no longer on the drugs the neurologist gave me as mentioned before. I am going to continue on pushing myself through a proper diet and exercise. I want to become healthy overall. This means I have to adopt a healthy lifestyle--which I know I can do.
Oh, so about the Whole 30.. It is completed. I will admit, I cheated. Lol. I lost about 5 pounds, but that was without any exercise. I know, I know, I shouldn't have cheated. Oh well. You know what though? The Whole30 taught me a lot about better eating. It really did. Although I am no longer on the Whole30, I've decided to somewhat incorporate it in my new diet.
I'm on a journey to be fit. To be healthy. To overally have good health.
I am going to do zumba tonight, btw. I've decided to work out ~5x a week. I want to push myself to do the best I can.
CURRENT WEIGHT: 179.6
GOAL WEIGHT: 165
MOST FAVORED/DESIRED GOAL: 155/160
We'll see. I really don't mind 165, but I guess I can always be a bit more skinnier. Lol.
I WILL WEAR THAT BIKINI THIS SUMMER. I PROMISE.

Jan 22
Hey!!
So it's been 2 weeks since I started the WHOLE30. I didn't weight myself before i started but last month I was 192 pounds and now I am 181 pounds. I have found complete confidence within myself. My boyfriend Bradley has been giving me so much confidence and he has been the one to motivate me and push me through the Whole30. I really hope that this program helps with the migraine and back pain.
As you guys might know, I am trying to wear a bikini this summer. Yes! A bikini. I never thought I would actually say that or do something like that, but that is the goal.
No more yo-yo dieting, folks. I am really going to do this. I have such an amazing man and with him and God by my side, I know that anything is possible.
I have surgery on April 25, but I hope to lose 15 pounds by then, but no rushing. I am just taking things easy and steady and slow.

jan 8--day one
Heavens!
It has been so long since I have posted on this blog. A lot of things have happened since.
I have been under crazy stress since losing my job back in July--the stress along with many factors has been the reason behind my chronic migraine/eye pain. :/ I am hoping to start a job soon so I can get back into school.
Anyways, I didn't stick with my diet like I should have :/ wahhhhhh.
FOOD. IS. JUST. SO. ADDICTING. *cries*
I found out that I have high cholesterol about a month ago. My chronic migraine has made it extremely difficult for me to exercise. Any strenuous activity makes my headache worse.
Because I cannot work out like I would like to, I have decided to try the WHOLE30 program.
I have stripped sugar, grains, dairy and legumes from my diet completely.
TODAY IS DAY ONE: 11/8/13
Lunch: sweet potatoes and squash
snacks; pineapples
Dinner: Grilled sweet potatoes, chicken breast and broccoli.
